Hello. My name is Chuck Camroux and I live in Niagara Falls Canada. I spent my “career” in broadcasting, and that’s probably why I am so interesting in spreading the news about Niagara Falls. It also gives me something really interesting to do in retirement.
This website, Gateway to Niagara Falls is a continually evolving project. My mission with this site is to make it the “go to” website for Niagara Falls. But instead of a static brochure site, I decided to make this a blog. Sure it has and will continue to have static information about the falls, but it will also continue to be an interactive blog.
Thus each day you can come back to the site and find something new, refreshing and hopefully interesting.
If you are planning a visit, I hope I am able to help make your visit more interesting. If you have already visited Niagara Falls, or you can’t make it in the foreseeable future, I want to help satisfy your interest in the falls.
There is a lot more to Niagara Falls than just the Falls. As majestic, powerful and awe-inspiring as the three Falls are (American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Canadian-Horseshoe Falls), the Niagara region is rich in history (where the first Capital of Canada is located; where the only war between Canada and the USA took place; where grapes are grown and a thriving wine industry exists; where ice wine is produced in quantity and shipped around the world; and it’s the location of the Welland Canal, allowing huge Great Lake ships to traverse around Niagara Falls), and the Falls span two great countries – Canada and the United States.
Within this blog, Gateway Niagara, I try to cover all of the exciting Niagara Region. I am always interested in hearing from you and of course you can contact me by e-mail by using my contact form on this site. I regularily take groups from 2 to 20 and more on personal tours of Niagara Falls.
Thanks for visiting and remember, I’d love to hear from you.
