Heath Ledger likeness as the joker at Niagara Falls

Yup, even here Batman reigns supreme with the Joker locked up behind bars.

This wax likeness of The Joker as played by Heath Ledger is [yes] amazing and [yes] popular with the tourists. Not much to do with the Falls at Niagara Falls, but a lot to do with the fun of Clifton Hill.

Sidenote: Apparently in the next Batman movie, the Joker will not appear with a new character in honor of Heath’s superb portrayal in The Dark Knight Batman movie. Ledger was found dead on January 22, 2008 in his apartment in the Manhattan neighborhood of SoHo, with a bottle of prescription sleeping pills nearby.

It was concluded weeks later that he died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs that included painkillers, sleeping pills and anti-anxiety medication. After his death he received more than 30 posthumous awards for his portrayal as the psychopathic clown prince of crime in The Dark Knight (2008).
