In fact, he never came. It seems that the first annual Elvis Festival in Niagara Falls Ontario was a bust. I waited to read and talk to others about this first festival to see what the feeling is for another festival.
No matter what, for an Elvis festival to be successful in Niagara Falls, it needs to be advertised. Advertised a lot. Remember, Elvis has been gone nearly 40 years. Sure he’s still the King. Still very popular and still making money on music, film and live performances, but for those under 30, he’s a name, not a passion.
If you want to fill the streets with Elvis fans, be sure you advertise to the right crowd (demographic), and be sure you educate for those younger than middle age and up.
