Luxury is Affordable

I invite you to tour with me, or any of our experienced Niagara Tour Guides. Throughout 2010 you can enjoy all there is in Niagara from cascading waterfalls, Canada’s first Capital, Niagara on the Lake dating back to the 1700′s, to a tasting of the best ice wine in the world.

We’ll pick you up at your hotel in Niagara or Toronto, or Bed & Breakfast location and at the end of an exciting and fun day, deliver you back to where we picked you up.

You’ll travel in comfort, visiting the Canadian-Horseshoe Falls at Table Rock, where you’ll stand within a few feet of the cascading water heading over the brink of the largest of the three falls at Niagara. You’ll look down the 188 feet (57m) of Niagara’s most powerful falls, watching more than 6 million cubic feet (1,828,800cubic meters) of water going over the crest every minute.

A a typical Niagara Day Tour itinerary during the spring, summer and fall from mid-May to Late October.

Pick up in Niagara between 10-10:15am (if you are being brought down from Toronto, your Toronto pickup will be timed to transfer to the tour bus between 10-10:15am)

Welcome and some information about the tour that day from your driver/guide.

Maid of the Mist will be the first spectacular ride of the day. We go here first because if it should be raining, you will receive a poncho which you can keep and use elsewhere during the tour. Also, if the wind is blowing from the east, the mist rising from the huge Canadian-Horseshoe Falls will blow over the lookout points at Table Rock and you may want to have the poncho on so you don’t get wet. Virtually everyone comes off the boat declaring how spectacular the Maid of the Mist ride is. The Maid of the Mist ride is not available in Winter from late October to mid-May. The Maid of the Mist is included with your tour.

Table Rock Photo & Awe stop is one of the supreme highlights of your tour. Walk beside the river, just feet above the Canadian-Horseshoe Falls. Feel the power as millions of gallons pour over the brink. Look over the edge and feel the mist blow back up and into your face. Stand, look and feel the history of the ice age when the waters of Niagara were formed.

You will never forget Niagara Falls.

The Upper Rapids and Hydro Control Gates. Stand in front of the control gates and learn about water flow control at Niagara Falls. Water that goes into the Canadian and American power generators. Water that is rerouted to slow erosion and preserve the Falls for generations to enjoy in the future.

The Old Scow in the river just a quarter of a mile above the falls. Learn how two men nearly went over the falls in 1918 in a scow carrying rock and how they were saved.

The Whirlpool Rapids Observation Deck is one of the scenic points along the gorge and the river that flows through it. Learn about the whirlpool created by the forces of the Niagara River and see the Whirlpool Cable car built in 1916 to cross the rapids, travelling over 2,000 feet (609 meters).

Thank you so much for your wonderful tour today. We had a great time . In addition to the attractions the tour was made for us by all the added information you provided. It’s clear you really enjoy your job and enjoy being with people . We have travelled a great deal and the tour today was one of the most enjoyable we’ve done.

Lunch high above the three Falls at Niagara at the Sheraton On The Falls. You’ll enjoy a sumptuous lunch (did I mention all you can eat) 14 floors up with an incredible view of the American, Bridal Veil and Canadian-Horseshoe Falls. Don’t forget your camera. Lunch is included with your tour.

The Ride to Niagara-On-The-Lake, along the Niagara Parkway, and free time in NOTL to enjoy the history, the shops, the ambiance, even an ice cream and a seat under a tree with beautiful flowers all around. Did I mention that there’s free water onboard too.

But before you get to Niagara on the Lake, you will learn about the War of 1812. The only war ever fought between Canada and the U.S.A. Of course a little historical leeway here, as the war was really between the Americans and British.

We’ll tell you about Laura Secord and her part in the historical makeup of Canada. No relationship to the famous Canadian chocolate company though. You’ll see the Miniature Church along the way where there are wedding taking place all summer long.

Of course, what would a great lunch be like if you didn’t finish it off with some incredible Ice Wine. We’ll stop and treat you to a free tasting of Niagara’s best. Oh, you didn’t know Niagara is the largest producer of ice wine, in the world? Once you try it you’ll know why.

And, if you don’t over indulge in Niagara on the Lake, we just may stop by the Chocolate F/X and treat you to some of the finest hand rolled chocolate covered .. well there’s over a 100 chocolate covered goodies. Better to try than describe.

Your Niagara Falls and Niagara tour takes up most of your daytime day, but we’ll get you back in time to see the lights of Niagara Falls, and if on a Wednesday, Friday or Sunday, the Fireworks over the Falls.

We want to thank you so much for showing us around the Niagara Region on a wonderful and interesting (and busy) sightseeing tour. We were very impressed by the depth and breadth of your explanations be it on history, culture, landscape or water and power engineering – and last not least viniculture. We appreciated very much that you supported your explanations by a lot of numerical data like feet, gallons (bathtubs), kilowatts etc.

The tour was well composed: the wild force of nature of the Falls in the morning and the silence and peace of Niagara-on-the-Lake in the afternoon, in between a (well deserved) gorgeous lunch on the top of the Sheraton. Also in this field our driver/guide, Chuck, turned out to be an expert. In summary: a great day!

Thank you very much and all the best, Joachim and Magdalena M., Germany
